Experienced, Passionate & Purpose driven.

Jarred and Gareth are professional dog groomers, canine and fertility experts who have been microchipping pets as part of their work for years. Through their experience in the industry, they saw firsthand where the current system falls short for implanters, vets, and especially for keepers when a pet goes missing. They connected with Connor, a developer with a growing focus on the pet sector, and together they founded AniMap with a shared goal: to build a clearer, more reliable microchipping and reunification system that works better for everyone.

With over 5 years of complaint leadership in finance and six years of hands on experience in operations and customer experience in the pet industry the day to day running of the business will be in good hands. He founded Animap to provide unrivalled customer experience to implanters, professionals and new pet keepers. Taking into consideration clear and simple registration tools and a secure and modern database. Alongside running a multi award winning dog grooming parlour and a natural dog treat brand, the journey began with our first dog Lola, who highlighted the true importance of customer support and fast reunification.

With over eight years of experience building software for companies across Europe, Connor has developed a genuine passion for the pet industry and the technology that supports it. He is also the creator of PetBookr and Dog Groomer Jobs, giving him deep insight into the needs of both pet professionals and keepers. At AniMap he applies this technical expertise to design secure, dependable systems focused on accuracy, stability and ultimately helping lost pets find their way back to their families.

With 14 years management and data experience in finance, and 4 years running a successful dog grooming business he brings valuable business knowledge into the business. His practical understanding of industry challenges, data responsibility and customer trust, enabling him to identify risks early and uphold strong standards of security, compliance and reliability. He founded AniMap from a genuine passion for animal welfare and firsthand experience of how stressful and confusing pet reunification can be.
