Do I need an AniMap account?
Yes. You need an AniMap account to use your AniTag. If you don't have one yet, scan the QR code on your tag and follow the setup instructions. That creates your account and registers your AniTag.
Is AniTag a replacement for a microchip?
No. Microchipping remains the legal and veterinary standard for permanent ID in the UK. AniTag is an extra visible layer so anyone with a phone can help quickly while you keep control of what's shared online.
