Information for Breeders

Your implanter will send you an email with a link to your AniMap breeder account. When you first log in, you'll use a temporary password (included in the email). You can then set a new password if you wish.

Once you're logged in, you can view and manage all assigned microchips in one place and transfer each pet to their new keeper as they leave for their forever homes. To follow UK legislation when transferring keepership:

• Nominate the new owner — Update the microchip record on AniMap to nominate the new keeper as soon as the pet is rehomed. This keeps the database accurate and complies with microchipping regulations.
• Give them the microchip booklet — Pass on the microchip registration booklet (or paperwork supplied with the chip) to the new owner. It helps them register the microchip and gives them proof of registration and the microchip number for their records.
