Refund & Returns Policy

At AniMap, we're committed to providing a reliable and supportive service to both pet keepers and implanters. We understand that occasionally things don't go as expected, and we aim to handle all refunds and returns fairly, efficiently, and with care.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available for products purchased directly from AniMap, provided that:
- The request is made within the applicable timeframe
- The item has not been used
- The product is returned in its original packaging and in a resalable condition
We may be unable to offer a refund if these conditions are not met.
2. Payment-Related Refunds
If you experience an issue with a payment or order, you can request a refund within 3 working days of the transaction.
To arrange this:
- Please contact our support team with your order details at support@animap.co.uk
- Once approved, refunds will be issued via the original payment method
We aim to process these requests as quickly as possible to minimise disruption.
3. Non-Refundable Items
We are unable to offer refunds on:
- Products that have been opened, used, or damaged after delivery
- Personalised or bespoke items
- Orders placed through third-party retailers or distributors
- Microchip registrations
4. How to Request a Return or Refund
To begin the process:
- Contact our support team within the relevant timeframe
- Provide your order number or proof of purchase
- Wait for confirmation and return instructions before sending any items back
This ensures your return is handled promptly and correctly.
5. Returning Your Items
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer/implanter unless the item is faulty or sent in error.
We recommend using a tracked service, as AniMap cannot accept responsibility for items lost during return transit.
6. Refund Processing
Once your returned item has been received and checked:
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method
- Depending on your bank or provider, it may take a few working days for funds to appear
7. Partial Refunds
In some situations, a partial refund may be issued. This may apply where:
- Items are returned with missing components
- Packaging is damaged or incomplete
Each case will be reviewed individually to ensure a fair outcome.
8. Order Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled shortly after purchase if they have not yet been processed or dispatched.
If an order has already been shipped, it will need to be returned in line with this policy.
9. Returns (Unopened Items)
We accept returns of unused and unopened items within 15 working days of purchase.
To qualify:
- Packaging must remain sealed and intact
- Items must be in a condition suitable for resale
Refunds will be issued once the returned goods have been received and inspected.
